PATHS AND SHAPES
These tasks involve drawing a line in the middle of the pathbetween two guiding lines.
As children continuously check the distance of their lines from guiding lines, and their brains initiate hands and fingers micro-movements to correct the direction of the drawn line, fine-motor hand movement control is reinforced.
These activities start with wide and straight paths, and then gradually change to narrow and curvy paths as the child’s skill level improves.
