copying: workbook 2.1
Why copying activities are important
Copying activities stimulate child’s eye - hand coordination. When children draw different basic geometric shapes their brains compare evolving drawings with original shapes. This process strengthen visual-motor integration and fine-motor hand and fingers movements control.
Worksheets and activities in this workbook
Activities and tasks (30 worksheets) in this workbook are designed for strengthening children’s visual-motor integration and basic graphomotor skills by copying different squares. Moreover, activities strengthen shape and size constancy concepts.
Activities and tasks difficulty increase throughout the workbook in three ways:
by decreasing size of squares to be copied,
by increasing complexity of sets of squares to be copied,
by increasing task complexity.
