copying: workbook 1.1

copying circles

and squares

Why copying activities are important

Copying activities stimulate eye - hand coordination. When we draw circles or squares our brains compare evolving drawings with original shapes. This process strengthen visual-motor integration and fine-motor hand and fingers movements control.

Worksheets and activities in this workbook

Activities and tasks in this workbook are designed for strengthening visual-motor integration by copying different circles and squares.

Activities and tasks difficulty increase throughout the workbook in three ways:

  • by decreasing size of circles and squares,

  • by increasing complexity of sets of circles or squares,

  • by increasing task difficulty.
