spatial organization: workbook 3.1

connecting dots - shapes

Why connecting dots activities are important

Connecting dots into shapes stimulate eye - hand coordination. When we draw a line from one to another dot our eyes follow the evolving line and simultaneously compare its direction with the position of the target dot. This comparison is followed by hand and fingers micro-movements to correct the direction towards the target dot. The whole process strengthen visual-motor integration and fine-motor hand and fingers movements control.

Worksheets and activities in this workbook

Activities in this workbook are designed for strengthening visual-motor integration by connecting dots into shapes. Tasks range from simple to gradually more challenging ones.
