TRACING AND CONNECTING
Tracing lines and connecting activities stimulate eye-hand coordination and visual-motor integration.
When we follow and draw over dotted or other kind of lines, we simultaneously compare emerging lines with original ones. Similar process is happening when we connect two or multipler dots with lines.
The process in which the eyes visually guide the movement of the hand, strenghtens visual-motor integration and fine-motor hand and fingers movements control.

Types of tasks / activities
Tracing horizontal and
vertical lines
Tracing different horizontal and vertical lines. Lines are drawn as sets of dots which are followed during drawing. Tasks difficulty increase throughout the workbook in two ways: (a) by incresing lines lenghts, (b) by increased spacing between dots.
Selected tasks are available in Brainscribe Family Free workbooks. Please note that their use is limited to family/home use. A sample of tasks of this type is available in the bottom link.

Tracing
zig zag lines
Tracing horizontal and vertical zig-zag lines. Lines are drawn as sets of dots which are followed during drawing. Activities and tasks difficulty increase throughout the workbook in three ways: (a) by increasing lines lenght, (b) by increasing lines comlexity, (c) by increasing spacing between dots.
Selected tasks are available in Brainscribe Family Free workbooks. Please note that their use is limited to family/home use. A sample of tasks of this type is available in the bottom link.

Tracing
wavy
lines
Tracing horizontal and vertical wavy ines. Lines are drawn as sets of dots which care followed/traced during drawing. Tasks difficulty increase throughout the workbook in three ways: (a) by increasing lines lenght, (b) by increasing lines comlexity, (c) by increasing spacing between dots.
Selected tasks are available in Brainscribe Family Free workbooks. Please note that their use is limited to family/home use. A sample of tasks of this type is available in the bottom link.

Tracing straight and irregular
lines
Tracing straight and irregular lines. Horizontal and vertical lines are drawn as sets of dots which are followed/traced during drawing. Tasks difficulty increase throughout the workbook in two ways: (a) by increasing lines lenght, (b) by increasing lines irregularities.
Selected tasks are available in Brainscribe Family Free workbooks. Please note that their use is limited to family/home use. A sample of tasks of this type is available in the bottom link.

Tracing curved
lines
Tracing different curved lines. Lines are drawn as sets of dots which are followed/traced during drawing.

Connecting - straight lines
and
angles
Connecting strings of dots which lines. Tasks difficulty increase throughout the workbook in three ways: (a) by increasing lenght of the strings of dots, (b) by changing angles and complexity of the strings of dots, (c) by increasing the spacing between the dots in strings.
Selected tasks are available in Brainscribe Family Free workbooks. Please note that their use is limited to family/home use. A sample of tasks of this type is available in the bottom link.

Drawing lines
dot to dot
Connecting pairs or strings of dots. Activities and tasks difficulty increase throughout the workbook in three ways: (a) by increasing distance between dots, (b) by changing inclination and complexity of lines, (c) by increasing the number of dots.
Selected tasks are available in Brainscribe Family Free workbooks. Please note that their use is limited to family/home use. A sample of tasks of this type is available in the bottom link.
