tracing and connecting: workbook 6.1
connecting - straight lines and angles
Why connecting dots activities are important
Connecting dots stimulate eye - hand coordination. When we connect two dots or multiple dots in a string, our eyes simultaneously follow and compare lines with printed dots. This process strengthen visual-motor integration and fine-motor hand and fingers movements control.
Worksheets and activities in this workbook
Activities in this workbook stimulate the ability to draw longer lines and ability to change direction of drawing. Tasks are set in form of strings of dots which differ in their length and spacing between the dots.
Activities and tasks difficulty increase throughout the workbook in three ways:
by increasing length of the strings of dots,
by changing inclination and complexity of the lines,
by decreasing dots density in strings.
